Help & FAQs
Clear answers for people, sellers, hosts, businesses, riders, providers and partners.
Baroow is a Barbados-first platform for local marketplace listings, property, jobs and services. One account connects people with the relevant buyers, sellers, hosts, employers and businesses.
Baroow shows only the services approved for your selected market. Availability updates as market operations change, so the current service page is the authoritative view.
Barbados is our first market. New markets follow only after verified local supply, operations, support and compliance are in place.
No. One Baroow account can connect you to the customer, host, vendor, organiser, employer or Rider journeys available to you. Additional verification may apply when you take on a regulated or commercial role.
Select your market and check the relevant service page or app journey. Baroow uses market operations settings to show the approved capability and correct next step.
Baroow uses AI for practical tasks such as preparing Marketplace listing drafts, improving discovery and organising information where the relevant capability is enabled.
No. AI can prepare drafts and suggestions, but publishing, contacting another person, accepting terms and completing payment remain explicit user actions.
Baroow AI uses the information you provide and the eligible platform content needed for the task. Access remains subject to the product's permissions, privacy controls and market configuration.
Yes. AI output is a draft or suggestion. Review it for accuracy, change any detail that is not right and make the final decision before publishing or continuing.
No. AI assistance does not replace identity, business, licence, vehicle, insurance or other checks required for a role or transaction.
Choose the business pathway that matches what you sell, list, host or provide. Baroow will show the current market status, required verification and correct application route.
Tools vary by business type and market. They may include listings, enquiries, availability, staff access, orders, promotions, finance and reporting.
Fees are not presented as one universal percentage. Applicable commission, service, promotion, delivery or payment terms are shown in the relevant business journey before activation or purchase.
Multi-branch controls are available for eligible vendor types and markets. Authorised staff can be assigned to the branches and responsibilities they need without sharing the owner's account.
Eligible paid promotions and sponsored placements can be offered by vertical and market. The price, duration, placement, funding and performance reporting are shown before purchase or opt-in.
A Baroow listing can hold richer item details, trust signals and private negotiation in one shareable page, without requiring you to publish your phone number or personal social profile.
No. Baroow supports Marketplace discovery and negotiation, but buyers and sellers decide how to inspect, exchange and pay for the item.
Listing Magic uses your photos and details to prepare a structured draft. You review and edit the title, description, category and other fields before publishing.
Yes. A published listing has a shareable link with the item's approved photos and details, making it easier to send a complete listing through WhatsApp, social media or another channel.
Eligible Marketplace conversations can remain inside Baroow. Buyers and sellers can discuss an offer privately and decide later whether sharing contact details is necessary.
Eligible owners and agents can use the property host journey to create a listing and manage private enquiries and viewing requests. Available property modes depend on market configuration.
Baroow helps people discover suitable roles and then follows the application path approved by the employer. Employers can use the employer journey where posting is enabled.
Property modes such as long-term rent, sale and short-term stays are controlled separately for each market. Baroow displays only the modes currently enabled.
Yes. Where the property host tools are enabled, owners and agents can organise viewing availability, requests, reminders and changes in one workspace.
Eligible employers can publish roles where employer posting is enabled. The business and role must complete the checks required for the selected market before publication.
No. Going online does not guarantee a fixed number of requests or fixed hourly income. Eligible offers show important route and earnings information before acceptance.
Open the relevant recruitment page to understand the opportunity first. When you continue, Baroow checks your account, market and role requirements before starting the application.
Where supported, you can register interest or join the relevant waitlist. Market capacity and vehicle or service eligibility remain controlled by Baroow operations.
An eligible offer can show the route, estimated time, distance, stops and guaranteed delivery earnings before the Rider decides whether to accept.
Confirmed earnings, adjustments and payout status are recorded in the relevant Baroow finance or Wallet workspace. Payout timing and requirements depend on the role and market.
Baroow considers partnerships across tourism, supply, payments, insurance, community distribution, media, operations and market expansion where there is a clear customer or operating benefit.
Use the partnership contact route and include the market, organisation, proposed value and the team responsible for delivery. Baroow will route the enquiry to the appropriate owner.
Explain the customer or operating problem, target market, proposed contribution, delivery responsibilities, evidence of capability and the outcome both parties should measure.
Yes. Baroow can consider measurable partnerships with tourism organisations, accommodation providers, attractions, event operators and destination networks where the relevant market capabilities are active or being prepared.
Eligible partners can discuss governed sponsorships, vouchers, placements or activation campaigns. Funding, audience, market, redemption rules, reporting and brand requirements must be agreed before launch.
Baroow combines structured listings, reporting, moderation and role-specific verification. A visible status describes the check completed; it does not guarantee a person, listing or transaction is risk-free.
No. Verification is role-specific. Identity, business, licence or vehicle checks apply where a service and role require them, and the relevant status is shown in the product.
No. Eligible Marketplace negotiation and enquiries can remain inside Baroow, so you do not need to publish personal contact details with a listing.
Use the reporting controls in the relevant Baroow journey or contact the appropriate support channel. Reports are routed for review based on the issue and service.
No. Verification confirms only the checks represented by the displayed status. Users should still review details carefully, use the platform's safety controls and report anything suspicious.
